Mother Nature

Thanks to Mother Nature's wonderful wind storm yesterday spring cleaning is in full swing today at the Warnick household! When you live in a neighborhood that's all sand I guess that's what's expected.
The to do list today includes:
Sweeping front entry
dusting, dusting and some more dusting
Sweeping and moping the floors
wiping down all the base boards and window sills
Cleaning windows
Vacuuming
Cleaning out our closet
Cleaning out some junk drawers
Organizing our room

Today defiantly feels like a MONDAY! Happy Monday too all!

Loving some sunshine

Well as the days have been getting nicer Lytton and I have been spending some afternoons at the park. He loves the swings and the slide! Its still a little chilly so I don't last very long, but he would stay out all day if he could, he throws a fit every time we start to head back to the car.

Spokane here we come!

Well my awesome hubby is taking me to Spokane this weekend, and did I mention kid free! Thats right no Lytton! I have to admit I am a little nervous to leave him behind since this will be his first night away from his parents, since he was born. Pathetic I know since he is 18 months old, but I am sure he will be in great hands with Grandma. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Lyttons Check up

My baby is huge! He is now 28 lbs and 33 1/2 inches long. Which puts him in the 90th percentile for height and the 80th for weight. We went to the doctor yesterday for his 18 months check up about a month early because we needed to finish up his flu shot, and since my doctor is very understanding he let us do all of his 18 month shots early so I wouldn't have to go back in a couple of weeks. He is expanding his vocabulary, hes up to about 6 words now, yeah! If he hears clapping on the TV he automatically joins in. He is growing up so fast and learning so much he is such a Joy and we love him dearly!

Daddys little helper

He just picked up the sander and went to work!

As I mentioned below Rich was working on projects for me the week he was off. One of the things he did was sand down and paint our coffee table and end table so they would match the rest of the furniture. It turned out really well and I will have to post pics of them soon, but anyways whenever Rich was in the garage working away Lytton just had to be out there with him. We took some cute pics of him working away with dad. How he knew how to do this is beyond me, he picks things up pretty fast!

Better late than never

Well we had a great Christmas break. Rich had a lot of time off so we finished up some projects around the house, spent a lot of time with family playing plenty of games, and a lot of rock band! That is our favorite. Ate lots of food and rang in the new year with all of Rich's family over for a fun filled night and a sleep over.

Lytton loved opening his presents and after each one he liked he would say ohhhh he was so cute!
